It's the sound it makes

  1. My old, now deceased, Maine Coon polypod cat named Maggie could spend hours doing exactly this. Good cats are great companions.

    1. You can say that again. Cats can be surprisingly affectionate and playful, if properly raised.

    2. Cats are a never ending source of amusement and affection, tempered with a bit of aggravation.
Mine likes to chew on things such as paper or plastic packaging. He ignores the scratching post and has concentrated on the sofa instead. Also he likes to get comfy on any book I might be reading. So I keep a decoy book handy...

  2. When I was a boy, we had a black cat of dubious intentions, who delighted in doing things like this at 2AM. He also liked to climb up on the screens of the bedroom windows and "sing" what I'm sure were beautiful melodies; at least another cat might think so.

For some reason this bothered my Dad, who had an unreasonable desire to sleep all through the night!

  3. my neighborhood mouser leaves me a gift on the back porch on occasion and i felt it would only be polite to reciprocate the gift giving. after finding that cats are finicky about treats, i stumbled upon the ultimate cat treat. 1/2" cubes of low salt SPAM. the little monster just loves the stuff.
pitty any wild piglets he comes across.
