    1. It takes the touch of several masters, one to make the barrels, one to make the action, one to make the stock and a master engraver.
      You also need a cast iron shoulder for 577 Nitro Express loads. They generate 7,000ft/lbs at the muzzle, almost twice the energy of a 300WinMag.

  3. Yes, whilst at the trap range I am surrounded by Perazzis, Sakabas and Brownings. Alas, I have an 1100 Remington. But the clay doesn't seem to care.

  4. .510 well express. olin custom ammo. tiger hunting in India. 14000lb/ft of energy at the muzzle. comparable to .50BMG. saw one made in a custom smiths shop in Phoenix AZ back in 1969. had hydraulic shock absorbers in the stock. double rifle. it was painful to simply look at. ordered by wealthy foreign customer from asia.
