A scene from Greenland for RAF

  1. Cold. Cold as a witch's tit. Not quite as cold as Nancy Pelosi's heart.

  2. That is Nuuk! I've lived there. In summer, you can watch whales play in the fiord just west of town. You can hear them "blow" from land. The mountain in the background has a tiny glacier on the other side.
Nuuk is a cesspit of crime and misery, though. It is the largest town in Greenland with a population of about 16.000. I feel sad that most people who come to Greenland only come to Nuuk without seeing the rest of the country. The REAL Greenland of the far north, for instance.
(Nuuk is not a particularly cold place. It is quite far south, and the sea has a warming effect on the climate. I'm not sure if anything can have a warming effect on a politicians heart...)
